Treasures of the Costume Collection 1740 - 1930

Objects of enchantment and delight are the inspiration for a stunning upcoming exhibit, “Treasures of the Costume Collection – 1740 – 1930” which opens with a Champagne Reception on Friday, April 27.

Curated by Babs White, the Society’s esteemed Costume Curator for over 40 years, the exhibit will serve as a centerpiece for several lunch receptions and lectures throughout the spring.

For members of the Costume Committee, a treasure may be a period piece in remarkably good condition for its age. It may express devotion to perfection by an Haute Couture designer, or have a unique human story connected to it.

The exhibition represents the culmination of months of preparation and hard work by our dedicated and experienced volunteers, and we hope you’ll consider lending your support to their impressive efforts.

Sponsors will be highlighted both at the exhibit itself, and in all publicity surrounding these popular events. We are offering sponsorships at the following levels:

Benefactor: $1,000 Donation: Includes six complimentary ($50) tickets to the champagne reception, and special acknowledgement in the gallery and press materials.

Patron: $500 Donation: Includes four complimentary tickets to the champagne reception, and special acknowledgement in the gallery and press materials.

Sponsor: $200 Donation: Includes two complimentary tickets to the champagne reception and special acknowledgement in the gallery and press materials.

Friend: $100 Donation: Includes one complimentary ticket to the champagne reception and special acknowledgement in the gallery and press materials.

We hope that you will consider a sponsorship, and I look forward to seeing you at the opening on Friday April 27.

With Best Regards,
