How were soldiers armed during the Revolutionary War?Charles Wheeler, an antique firearms expert, will talk about weapons used in America’s struggle for independence and also display his impressive collection of 18th century weaponry.
A reception will follow to celebrate Bruce and Janet Sargent's generous donation of a "Brown Bess" flintlock musket, which now graces the kitchen fireplace at the Bates Scofield house museum.
For ages 10 to adult. A reception follows.
